For over 30 years, owner Greg dreamed of opening a second dry cleaning location in Houston. When you think about family-owned businesses and serving a community with dry cleaning services since 1947, it is a little mind boggling to say the least. Knowing you stand where your grandfather and your mother once stood before you, working to provide the best dry cleaning services possible to our customers, brings some form of peace and a ton of elation. So, imagine our excitement when we opened the doors to our newest dry cleaning location at 2360 W. Alabama St. in River Oaks on October 16, 2023.
It all started with Greg sharing his 30+ year dream of a second dry cleaning location. From there, we started turning corners in May 2023. For those who may not know, turning corners is what we call driving around town; or tooling around town. We were looking for “The best dry cleaners near me.” spot. Call it happenstance, good fortune, or luck; we found our desired location relatively quickly. To our surprise, another long standing dry cleaner called Swan’s Cleaners, had once been a couple doors down from the spot we were considering. It all worked out! We signed our lease on August 16th with the hope of opening October 2nd.
We didn’t quite make our goal to open on the 2nd; but our doors have officially been open 18 days and it has been a pleasure meeting those of you who have stopped in to support us thus far. When you think of “The best dry cleaners near me.”, we want to be your dry cleaner of choice. We work hard each day to ensure your fine garments, household items, leather and laundered shirts receive the special attention they need to return to you clean and fresh. We want you to leave the dirt to us.
Our goal with our blog is to provide content that will help you care for your garments and household items. Hopefully, we will be able to answer questions you may have regarding best way to treat stains, best way to clean and care for leather items etc. We look forward to sharing this content with you.
Come see our new store!!!
As Greg would say, “Now, go get dirty!”.
