Have you ever discarded one of your favorite garments because of a small hole, tear, burn, or rip? Unfortunately, you aren’t alone. All to often, we hear of individuals discarding garments because they are not aware of the art of reweaving.
The most popular type of reweaving we see is called invisible reweaving and or French reweaving. With this technique, threads are taken from hidden areas of your garment and weaved through the existing hole. The existing hole literally disappears and becomes invisible. It is truly amazing to see.
Larger holes? No problem. Piece weaving takes a section of fabric or piece of fabric from your existing garment, which is then used to cover the area allowing the ability to weave over the fabric over the existing hole. Additionally, reknitting is an option for your sweaters or any knitted garment. Any snags, pulls or tears can be repaired. Sleeves can even be shortened!!
